Massage Therapy
Massage is the kneading of various layers of muscle and connective tissue using a wide array of techniques to improve overall muscle and joint function, promote healing, lessen muscle reflex activity, and allow one's body and mind to enter a state of relaxation.
At our office, you will have the option of combining therapies (e.g. chiropractic and massage).
Acupuncture
In addition to chiropractic care and massage therapy, our wellness center also offers Acupuncture.
Acupuncture heals the body by allowing the energy within the body to be balanced. Everyone responds differently to acupuncture but some of the benefits of acupuncture can be: improved fertility, decreased pain, improved health and weight loss.
Spinal Decompression
Motorized Spinal Decompression has been proven to help with reducing pain due to herniated or bulging discs within the spine. This condition may occur because of a car accident or other stressors on the spine such as heavy lifting. This type of therapy is much like a chiropractic adjustment by helping to reduce the pressure in the spine. Motorized Spinal Decompression is done by gently stetching the spine at specific tensions, intervals and angles therefore creating a negative pressure in the fluid filled disks and as a result this can take pressure off the spinal nerves. This pumping action also helps to allow damaged discs to heal without the use of surgery.
